The bridge in its present iteration was built in the 1850s, with its history dating back to the early 17th century. The city council planned to construct a boardwalk, and our client required a BIM model before construction began.
Challenges
- The bridge's undulating nature posed a significant challenge for the modelling process.
- A curb connected the road and sidewalk on the bridge. Due to the bridge's undulating nature, modelling the curb proved challenging.
